Kartplex at Area 27 operates high performance Arrive + Drive race karts that are designed to offer you the sensations of racing machinery while remaining safe and serviceable. Kartplex is an ‘open to the public’ opportunity that provides a full-service karting centre to customers of all ages and experience levels.

Racers can simply go online and book or contact the Kartplex team to reserve your time in advance. A fleet of state-of-the-art TB race karts, driving suits, and helmets will be on-site ready for those drivers looking to test their skills.

Kartplex provides Arrive + Drive rental options offering a brand-new fleet of rental karts reaching speeds of up to 80 kph. Want to test out Kartplex with your own kart? No problem, Kartplex has open practice sessions for clients looking to bring their own karts to test out Kartplex – inquire about open practice hours at Kartplex.ca.

Minimum age requirement is eight (8) years old.

Sessions are about 10 minutes – depending on your lap times that’s 6-8 laps.

Book the Kartplex for a private function, personal gathering, or as an additional activity for clients during an event on Area 27’s big circuit.

Kartplex packages are designed to ensure that everyone in your group has an unforgettable experience! Speed Demons can go wheel to wheel on the track and find out who’s really the quickest on the timing charts, while less experienced drivers are given plenty of space to enjoy the amazing track safely at their own pace.

Kartplex offers great team building and educational packages for drivers of all experience levels. Refreshments provided, with optional catering available for larger groups.

Multi-session packages available. Minimum 15 drivers required and maximum 65.

Similar to the full road circuit, the Area 27 Kartplex is home to its own driving academy, staffed by experienced driver coaches and accomplished kart racers from all around the world.

Inquire today about the Kartplex Kids camps, karting workshops, seminars, and private coaching available, these services are available to all customers regardless of whether you own or rent a kart.

At Kartplex, we pride ourselves in providing an authentic racing experience! These are fast karts on a challenging track and your safety, as well as, staff safety, is our primary focus.

Kart racing is a potentially dangerous endeavour. We are committed to allowing you to experience the thrills of wheel to wheel racing our safety systems and policies are in place to minimize any risk. Kartplex is the first karting centre in North America to offer fully automated safety systems featuring Artificial Intelligence.

WHAT YOU NEED TO RACE

No experience is required to race our rental karts
Helmet included with kart rental (Use of personal helmets is at the discretion of the Head Marshal)
Shorts and t-shirts are permitted
Closed-toed shoes are required (Sandals will NOT be permitted)
Driving suits are not required, but are available if you prefer to wear one
Neck protection is available upon request
During cold weather conditions, dress appropriately; gloves recommended
All drivers under 19 years of age require a parent or guardian to sign our waiver
Drivers with special needs or health limitations are required to meet with our Head Marshal before participating

Designed by Legendary Canadian Racer, Jacques Villeneuve. This state-of-the-art 1.21 km circuit is designed to be rhythmic, fun, fast, and technical.
