The highly anticipated karting track at Area 27, Kartplex, will be opening this Saturday! Hours of operation will be from 11:30am to dusk. Here's what you need to know:

• Show up as you are, no open toe/heel shoes permitted - kart, suit, helmet available for rent - or bring your own
• Price: $25/session for equipment rental (pit pass is $10/day, but fee is waived for members)
• Drop-ins welcome but reservations are recommended -  call (250) 488-4630 or email craig@kartplex.ca to book
• Group track time of 6 people or more require a reservation if you want to go out together
• Children under 12 years of age require a safety briefing, reservation required for this
